Object of DSHTD

The Directorate of the Diplomatic Corps Service is responsible for the administration and maintenance of movable and immovable assets, state properties located within the territory of the Republic of Albania (R.SH) and abroad, which fall under its administrative responsibility. It ensures suitable conditions for the stay and functioning of the accredited Diplomatic Corps in the Republic of Albania, as well as the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Albania accredited abroad.

The Directorate fulfills the requirements for workspaces and comfortable living environments for Foreign Missions and the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the Republic of Albania, such as the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Embassy of France, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, the Embassy of Bulgaria, the Embassy of the Slovak Republic, and the office of the representation of the Algerian Embassy, located in state-owned buildings administered by the Directorate of the Diplomatic Corps Service on “Skënderbej” Street.

The institution offers long-term cooperation and partnership with reciprocal contributions in order to continuously improve conditions and provide quality services to clients. It fulfills the requirements for workspace for foreign organizations, projects, and foundations that carry out their activities in Albania, such as GIZ, UN Women, German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHA), USAID, Swiss Contact, Mott MacDonald, and Mary Ward Loreto Foundation.

The Directorate of the Diplomatic Corps Service (DSHTD) is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the embassy premises owned by the Albanian state and under the administration of DSHTD in New York, Washington, Stockholm, Brussels, Athens, and Rome.
